Order of the list
At most departments the order is: laws and regulations first, then textbooks and monographs, then academic articles, and online sources last. Within each group, sources are alphabetical and numbered.
Book
Author's full name, title, place of publication, publisher, year, number of pages. For example: Karimov A. Economic Theory. — Tashkent: Fan, 2022. — 320 p.
Article
Author, article title, journal title, year, volume/issue, page range. For example: Aliyev B. Factors of the digital economy // Economy and Education. — 2023. — No. 4. — pp. 12–18.
Online source
Author or site name, title, the full link (URL) and the date accessed. Use only reliable sites: official bodies, universities, academic journals.
Common mistakes
Listed sources never used in the text, outdated versions of laws, inconsistent formatting and dead links are the most frequent flaws. The required style (GOST, APA) is in your department's guideline — follow that.
